Meet Stephanie, Brian and Zoe - a beautiful family of three, soon to be joined by the arrival of a son and baby brother. At the end of our session together, we were joined by Stephanie's expecting sister, Sarah - they are just weeks apart! With the weather our city has been having and the due date closing in - I was worried that we may not be able to fit this session in, but the sun peaked out just long enough and as you can see, what beautiful morning it turned out to be. Today I had the pleasure of meeting a beautiful family of three - I honestly think that I have never seen family light up more around each other than these three do. One of the most entertaining parts of this session was the little one, who came up with about a dozen different faces through the morning we spent together - I have included only a few of them. I feel like I say this a lot but this was probably one of the hardest sessions to just pick a few to share - so I hope you enjoy!

Heroes Behind the Uniform - Calgary Family Photography

This session is particularly special to me - not only was the family fun to work with and the weather absolutely beautiful, but they are another military family. I met Lisa at work and it was not long after that we found out that we had something very meaningful in common. As many of you know, my husband and I went through deployment not even a year ago as he served a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Well - Lisa's son Jeff is another hero behind a uniform and this brave young man is deploying in June to serve our country. There is something very humbling about meeting members of our Canadian Armed Forces and their families because these are the people that stand up for our country and the people that stand proudly behind them. Jeff - we will be praying for you everyday until you return home safely and we thank-you for your service. God bless you.
